- Water resource recovery facilities: Water resource recovery facilities can use anaerobic digestion to treat municipal wastewater and generate renewable energy.
- 牛奶场: Dairies and farms can convert manure to biogas to generate clean energy to power operations.
- 食物浪费: Food waste from restaurants, 医院, food processors and breweries is readily convertible to biogas to power operations and reduce operations costs.
- 木材废料: Wood processing produces large amounts of wood waste with little commercial demand. This material can be used to produce steam and generate renewable electricity.

Depending on your project’s complexity, you may need a feasibility study or expert assistance to move through 允许 or utility interconnection. Energy Trust may provide up to $200,000 in support for these and other types of project development activities. We can help you identify engineers or other experts with the experience to help.
Project Development Assistance
Energy Trust provides support for expert project development assistance including, 但不限于, grant writing assistance, 可行性研究, 最终的设计, 允许, utility interconnection and construction management. We may pay up to 50% of the cost of hiring an outside consultant to provide expert assistance for these activities, up to a maximum of $200,000.

Installation incentives
Incentive levels are based on a project’s cost in comparison to the market value of the energy produced, called above-market cost. There is no cap or fixed percentage of the amount of above-market costs we will pay. In return for our funding contribution, we ask for a negotiated share of the project’s betvlctor伟德网页版 Certificates, which are held in trust for the ratepayers who pay the public purpose charge.
